We have also improved the models for condition analysis and error detection, and these updated analyses have now been applied to the data collected in 2023.

Example from data collection
The new analyses provide a clearer and more detailed picture of guardrail types and conditions, enabling better prioritization of maintenance measures.
This confirms that the data from our inspections is so rich that we can achieve increasingly precise results, even with older data, as our analysis models continue to evolve.
We are also continuously working to improve our data collection. There is no doubt that digital guardrail inspection will be a key part of road safety efforts – both today and in the future.
