As CEO of SafeRoad from 2002 to 2013, he led the company’s transformation from a national player into a leading European provider of road safety equipment and solutions. He later headed Hexagon Composites ASA from 2013 to 2024, re-enforcing the company’s leading global position within distribution and fuel systems for biogas, natural gas, and hydrogen and driving a five-fold topline growth under.

Since 2015, Engeset has combined own investments with external board service. He joined iSi as Board chair in March 2026, entering a company with a unique AI-based solution for condition assessment of road safety barriers.

“I see a company with strong technology and clear potential beyond the Norwegian market. The opportunity now is to scale this into international markets and build a leading position,” says Engeset.

He also highlights the appeal of returning to the road safety sector, an area where he has extensive experience, combined with the opportunity to contribute to innovative and productivity-enhancing solutions.
